COURSE DESCRIPTIONS AND GRADES OFFERED:
Agriculture I: Agri-Science Explorations is the 8th grade Agri-Science class that gives students a hands on opportunity to experience topics ranging from Soil Science, Plant Science, the Livestock Industry to Ag Mechanics. Hands on activities and labs accompany many lessons and students will have their first experience with wearing the FFA Jacket while learning about the National FFA Organization and all it has to offer.

Engineering I: A two-semester 8th grade class.  The first Semester is Design and Modeling where students discover the design process and develop an understanding of the influence of creativity and innovation in their lives. They are introduced to basic drafting as well as Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) as well as maintaining an online Engineering Notebook.  The second semester is Robotics, Students learn about the history and impact of automation and robotics as they explore mechanical systems, energy transfer, machine automation, and computer control systems. Using the VEX Robotics® platform, students apply what they know to design and program.
